The big deal here was a VO session with Adam West.
He hummed and doodled between takes.
When we looked at the paper later, he’d drawn a bunch of weird, ghoulish cartoon Batmans.
My partner and I asked him if we could have the paper as a souvenir and he said no.

At the time, this was a breakthrough. It took a lot of handholding.
We got to build a set. We got to set a spot somewhere other than an apartment or Taco Bell table.
We even got to letterbox the spot.
My partner and I called this approach “Strategy Fantastic,” and we had a nice run.
Although, we never got to do the one where scientists gave aliens Crunchwraps for their trip home.
